Trustees Meeting

July 7th @ 7:00PM at the Community Center

In response to recent news coverage, the Fowler Township Board of Trustees and the Fiscal Officer wish to reassure Fowler residents that the township's financial status is secure. Reports stating that Fowler Township overspent by over $400,000 during 2022 and 2023 are inaccurate.

A state audit of the 2022 and 2023 fiscal years identified a clerical error: the fiscal officer had not filed the correct paperwork with the Trumbull County Auditor to report Fowler Township's accurate appropriations for those years. These errors have since been corrected, and the current Fiscal Officer is fully aware of the annual reporting requirements to the Trumbull County Auditor.

2/26/25 A full financial report has been completed and is available for public inspection at the Fiscal Officers office by appointment, as required by ORC 117.38.

Fowler Township Trustee meetings are open to the public.  Meetings are held on the 1st Monday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Community Center.  If the 1st Monday is a Holiday the meeting will be the 2nd Monday.
